What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive at Farpoint, you’ll drive growth by building relationships with enterprise-level clients across industries and helping them unlock their potential with AI-driven solutions. This is a quota-carrying role where success is defined not just by closing deals but by establishing enduring partnerships with senior decision-makers, including the C-suite.
You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, understanding client challenges, and positioning Farpoint as the trusted partner in integrating AI into their workflows. Your ability to speak the language of both business and technology will enable you to connect with clients and guide them through the transformational potential of AI.
No two days are the same, but you can expect to:
- Own the Entire Sales Cycle: From prospecting and presenting to closing deals, while consistently achieving or exceeding your quota
- Build and Nurture Deep Relationships: Engage with senior stakeholders like CEOs, CTOs, and VPs to understand the needs of our enterprise clients
- Partner with Internal Teams: Work with our Deployment Strategists, Engineers, and Product Designers to craft tailored AI solutions for client challenges
- Identify and Develop Net New Opportunities: Proactively engage in developing new areas for Farpoint to expand its reach into untapped markets
- Develop Brand Authority: Stay at the forefront of emerging AI trends and innovations to position Farpoint as a thought leader and trusted advisor to clients
- Expand Network: Represent Farpoint at key industry events, conferences, and client presentations to drive interest and build Farpoint's brand
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years of successful experience in enterprise sales, preferably in technology or consulting roles, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Relationship Builder: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Tech-Literate: A deep interest in technology, with the ability to quickly grasp AI concepts and communicate their value to non-technical audiences
- Consultative Selling Skills: Experience in consultative, solution-orientated sales, with the ability to uncover client needs and tailor solutions to address them
- Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex client workflows, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes
- Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present confidently and persuasively to executive audiences
- Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a drive to succeed, a bias for action, and a willingness to tackle challenges head-on
- Collaborative: Comfortable working across interdisciplinary teams, partnering with engineers, designers and strategists to deliver client success
- Adaptive: A mindset that thrives in ambiguity and fast-changing environments, with the ability to pivot as needed

Salary
This is a quota-carrying role with compensation based on a competitive commission structure. Successful candidates can expect total compensation between $250,000 and $330,000 annually, depending on individual performance, qualifications, and experience.
Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock Units, a sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives. Please note that this estimate excludes the value of any potential bonuses, benefits, or the future value of long-term incentives.

What We Look For
- End-to-end people. You're someone who can take take something abstract, create a strategy and execute the plan to completion. You don't talk, you build.
- They say "we" more than "I" when recounting accomplishments. If they’re generous with giving others credit, we know they’re team players and will accept feedback.
- They talk about failures, not just wins. If you’re trying to bring new ideas into the world, you’re going to fail…a lot. How you recover and learn from pratfalls is the true test. Or as we say: “Fail often to succeed sooner.”
- They've spent time teaching as well as learning. Having an advanced degree shows diligence and mastery. Teaching shows you’re committed to making others successful, too.
- They’re nice to the receptionist. When the interview is over, we check with whoever’s manning the front desk to see how the candidate acted upon arrival. Were they polite and friendly or did they treat the receptionist poorly? If it’s the latter, we know they only relate well to those in their perceived social group. Not very empathic or human-centred.
We believe in asking for forgiveness, not permission. This goes for the job application process, too. Turning in a standard-issue résumé and cover letter won’t turn heads. Candidates who have wowed us have taken creative license and gone the extra mile to demonstrate their capabilities and passion. They’ve made video portraits, designed custom apps or, in one case, brought in a dancing robot.
